Harborside Psychiatrics is based on Cape Cod, Massachusetts, and delivers medication management by telehealth to adults across Connecticut, including Greenwich. That distance is not a limitation. It is how the practice is built.
Greenwich households are used to choosing a clinician deliberately, and to paying out of network when that is what it takes to get the right fit. Backcountry, Belle Haven, Old Greenwich, central Greenwich, Riverside: wherever in town you live, you are likely already comparing credentials, approach, and availability rather than settling for whoever has an opening first. This page is written for that kind of decision.
Appointments happen over secure video, from wherever you are. You need a private space, a stable internet connection, and a phone or computer with a camera. There is no waiting room and no commute across town or down to a Manhattan office.
An initial evaluation typically runs longer than a follow-up, because it involves a full history of your symptoms, past treatment, medical background, and current concerns. Follow-up appointments are shorter and focus on how a medication is working, any side effects, and whether a dose or approach needs adjustment. How often you’re seen depends on your situation: more frequently when a medication is new or changing, less often once things are stable.
If a prescription is appropriate, it is sent electronically to the pharmacy of your choice in Greenwich or anywhere else in Connecticut. Harborside is based in Yarmouth Port, Massachusetts, and clinicians are licensed to treat patients located in Connecticut at the time of the appointment.
Medication management at Harborside addresses conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive patterns, and sleep difficulties, along with support for the medication side of eating disorder treatment. Some patients are looking for a first evaluation and diagnosis. Others already have a diagnosis and want ongoing management, a second opinion on their current regimen, or a clinician who will look at the full picture, including diet, sleep, and other health factors, rather than one symptom in isolation.
Every plan is built around your specific history and current life, not a standard protocol applied the same way to everyone.
The first visit is a conversation, not a checklist. Expect questions about your current symptoms, when they started, what you have already tried, your medical history, and any medications or supplements you take now. Bring a list of anything you’re currently prescribed, and be ready to talk about what has or hasn’t worked before.
By the end of that appointment, you should have a clearer sense of a working diagnosis, if one applies, and a proposed plan, whether that involves a new prescription, an adjustment to something you’re already taking, or a decision to wait and monitor before starting anything.
Medication management and functional psychiatry at Harborside are performed by psychiatric nurse practitioners: Rachel Egan, RN PMHNP-BC, who is also Harborside’s clinical director, Emily Pardue, RN PMHNP-BC, and Kirstin Ritchie, RN PMHNP-BC. Each is qualified to evaluate, diagnose, and prescribe for mental health conditions. Full bios and credentials for each clinician are on the team page.
Therapy and eating disorder work are delivered by Harborside’s licensed therapy team: Hannah Legesse, LICSW, Tori Mahoney, LMHC, Jacquelyn Duford, LCMHC ATR, and Lexie Carchedi, LCSW. Some patients work with a prescriber alone, and others combine medication management with therapy from one of these clinicians.
Harborside is a private-pay practice and does not bill insurance directly for appointments. Current fees for an initial evaluation and for follow-up appointments are listed on the pricing page, and any questions about cost can be answered before you book anything.
If you’re ready to schedule, you can book an initial appointment online. If you’re still deciding whether this is the right fit, you’re welcome to reach out with questions first. Care for Greenwich patients is delivered entirely by video, so there’s no office visit to plan around, just an appointment on your calendar.
If you are in immediate danger, call 911. For mental health crisis support, call or text 988. Harborside does not provide emergency or after-hours care.

No. The first appointment includes a full evaluation, so a prior diagnosis isn’t required to get started.
Yes, with your permission. Many patients keep an existing therapist and use Harborside only for medication management.
It depends on the medication and how you’re responding to it. Some patients are seen monthly at first, then less often once things are stable.
Prescriptions are sent electronically to the pharmacy of your choice, the same as they would be after an in-person visit.
Harborside is private-pay and doesn’t bill insurance directly. A superbill is available for out-of-network reimbursement, where a plan allows it.
That’s part of ongoing management. Changes are discussed and made together at a follow-up visit, not on your own.
